EMERALD DESERT RALLY

Every November, the HMC Club hold their Annual Meeting at the Emerald Desert RV Park in Palm Desert, CA.

We had our Annual Meeting at the Emerald Desert RV Resort on November 9 - 12, 2006. About 76 members enjoyed it with 36 coaches parked in the luxurious surroundings.

A special thanks to wagon mistress Shirlee Griffin. She did all the shopping and rally supervision. The food was so varied and delicious. Everything went perfectly because of all the helpers.

The park catered a salmon dinner on Thursday night

and provided live entertainers for music and dancing.

On Friday nighteveryone cooked their own Entrée

In the early days of the club at our Annual Meetings held at Dodger Stadium, portable barbeques were lined up and it was so smokey it was hard to cook your steak.

As you can see, conditions have improved.
